Obituary
Mary E. Sexton, 86, of Crawfordsville, passed away Monday morning at Williamsburg Healthcare.
Mrs. Sexton was born June 29, 1924 in Crawfordsville, the daughter of Roscoe & Letha (Coffman) Cochran.
She is a 1924 graduate of New Richmond High School. She married James W. Sexton on Jan. 8, 1945 in Albuquerque, N.M. He preceded her in death on Nov. 9, 1998. She was a homemaker. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by daughter, Sheryl Sexton of Crawfordsville and Lana Sexton of Ft. Wayne; brother, Dale Cochran of New Market; sister, Judy Hamilton of Lafayette; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband; and brothers, Robert, Richard, David and Maurice Cochran.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Oak Hill Cemetery North. The Rev. Isaac Zull will officiate.
Memorial contributions can be sent to the charity of donor's choosing.
