Obituary
Mary Elizabeth Shahan of Crawfordsville died at 2:40 a.m.
Saturday at Lane House Nursing home. She was 94.
Mrs. Shahan was a homemaker.
She was born Sept. 13, 1917, at Crawfordsville, to Charles
and Cora Largent. She married Ed Shahan on Feb. 1, 1933. He
died June 25, 2000.
Survivors include: daughters, Violet Shahan and Delores Bastion,
both of Crawfordsville, and Mary Stonebraker of Darlington;
11 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and 15 greatgreat-
grandchildren.
Son Edward "Butch" died May 14, 2008.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt
& Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave., with Dirk Caldwell officiating.
Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may
call noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association
or the National Parkinson Foundation.
