Mary E. Vannice, 92, of Crawfordsville passed away Dec. 19, 2024, with her daughters by her side.

She was born Oct. 3, 1932, at Crawfordsville, to Melvin and Jane (Smith) Harwood. She married James Vannice and he preceded her in death. She had been a homemaker and a member of Hillsboro Church of Nazarene.

Survivors include: her children, Wayne (Dina) Vannice of Michigan, Cindy (Roy) Shrout of Crawfordsville and Starla Kellerman of Crawfordsville; along with five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and her dog, Angel.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Herman Harwood and Betty Haase.

Private family funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 26, 2024, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Greg McDonald officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.
