Mary Ann Wills, 94 of Crawfordsville, departed from this life in the early morning of May 1, 2019 at Franciscan Health Lafayette East.

She was born July 28, 1924 to Nettie and Charles Murdock near Linden, IN. Mary graduated from New Richmond High School in 1942 and from Wayne University of Beauty Culture in 1945. Mary worked as a beautician in Crawfordsville and was later employed as a cosmetician at Loeb's Department Store. She also worked as a sales clerk at Colleen's Hallmark. Mary was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Church Circle Group IV. Mary loved her family beyond measure and was a faithful friend. She seldom missed a birthday wish to those she knew and her kind and loving disposition earned her the nickname of "Sweet Mary" from her sister, Ted.

She married Lloyd E. Wills of Crawfordsville in 1946, he preceded her in death in 1988.

She is survived by a son, Dan (Gwynn) of Crawfordsville; three grandchildren, Jeff (Renee) Wills of Fortville, IN; Jenny (Jason) Sickle of Littleton, CO; and Zachary Green of Tucson, AZ; Step-grandchildren Shane (Anne) Templeton of Knoxville, TN; Beth (Allen) Goins of Clinton, TN; and Leslie (Thomas) Jordan of Franklin, TN. Great grandchildren Norah, Emily and Maren Wills and great step grandchildren Grace and Layne Templeton; and Delaney, Kylea, Brooks, Caroline Goins; and Judah Jordan; a niece Kincaid and several great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant brother Billie; Brother C. James Murdock; Sister Theodora Krauskopf; Niece, Twila Lampley and daughter Pamela Sampsell.

Funeral services will be held 4:00pm Friday May 10 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. A family graveside service will be held Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave.
