Matthew Fitzgerald Ross passed away on Sunday February 4th in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He was born to Marilyn Louise (Brun) and James Edwin Ross. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Matt graduated from Crawfordsville High School and graduated from Indiana State University. Throughout his life he worked in food service management and at the time of his death was employed by Home Depot.

Matt was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church and at the time of his death was serving his second year as Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus.

He is survived by his beloved daughter Lauren Ross and fiance Kyle Ing who reside in Roswell, Georgia.

He also survived by his sisters: Jane (Bob) Chezem of Crawfordsville, Mary Lynn Ross of Venice, Florida, Margaret (Donald) Lane of Kokomo, Nan Ross of Birmingham, Alabama, Jo Ann (David) Drinan of Lafayette and Constance (David) McIntosh of Muncie.

Matt leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives, and will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be at St. Bernard's on Thursday February 8th from 9am to 11am, followed by a Mass at 11:00am with Father Christopher Shocklee officiating.

In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the St. Bernard's Knights of Columbus Special Olympics Fund, a charity Matt held close to his heart.
