Ruby Maurine Dillman, 89, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 7 a.m. Monday at her home.

Ms. Dillman was born June 16, 1918 in Montgomery County to Lawrence and Bessie Reynolds Armstrong.

She was a graduate of New Market High School and Browns Business College. She retired from Dillman's Hardware. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother, Royce Armstrong of Clearwater, Fla.; sister-in-law, Harriet Harshman; nieces and nephews, Jon (Sharon) Hitch of Williamsburg, Ann Scott of Osgood, Sally (Travis) Richardson of Avon, Karen Allen of Cincinnati, Ohio, Mary (Kurt) Scheib of Nashville, Tenn., Adrienne (Mark) Fossard of Zionsville and Jordan Armstrong of South Korea; two grand nieces; and six grand nephews.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia Hitch.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Roe officiating. Burial will follow at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery.

Friends and family can pay their respects from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday.
