Maxine N. Roche, 77, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday at I.U. Health in Lafayette surrounded by her family.
She was born Jan. 11, 1937, in Crawfordsville to William C. and Mae (Barclay) Meagher, the last of 13 children.
Maxine worked for Danners for several years and retired from Painters Local 80. She enjoyed playing cards with the ladies of Rosedale Court, working puzzles and flowers. She loved reading and her time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, especially attending their sporting events. She was married to Thomas F. Roche for several years and they later divorced.
Survivors include daughters, Pamela (Marvin) Carter of Crawfordsville and Marla (Dennis) Wonders of Waynetown; grandchildren, Joshua Roche (Kelli Miller), Paul Lane, Steven Carter and Erika (Christopher) White; great-grandchildren, Jaron Roche, Ian Lane, Will White and Sammy White; sister, Dorothy Dodds; brothers, David (Phyllis) Meagher and Merle (Sarah) Meagher.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
