C. Meredith Keffer went to be with his Lord and Savior on December 18, 2014. He was born February 26, 1926 in Montgomery County to Albert & Elsie Abbott Keffer.
Meredith served in the US Army, after his discharge he was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed operating his welding business for many years. He was also a 36 year Walnut Township trustee and was a member of Mace United Methodist Church.
On April 11, 1948 he married Donis Ward, she survives. Also surviving are his children; Mike (Marsha) Keffer of Crawfordsville, John Keffer of Darlington, Dan (Debbie) Keffer of New Ross and Susie Keffer of Crawfordsville. Meredith also has 6 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers Winston & Reid Keffer and a daughter in law Terri Keffer.
Meredith was ever present at the Montgomery County fair, cheering on his children and grandchildren as they exhibited livestock that he loved and appreciated.


Funeral services will be held 10:00am Monday at Mace United Methodist Church with Pastor Tami Musche officiating. Interment will be in the Mace Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held 3-6 Sunday at the church.
