Michael Lee Billingsley, 65, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 4, 2020, in his home, surrounded by his wife and family.

He was born Aug. 9, 1954, at Covington, Kentuckay, to Fred L. and Katherine (Sparks) Black. On Dec. 10, 1974, he married Terri S. Day.

Mike drove a semi for 32 years until his retirement. He also served in the U.S. Navy.

He loved spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren and family. He also loved family get togethers and his pets.

He is survived by his wife Terri; daughters, Traci (Skip) Eads and Anna (David) Scaggs, both of Crawfordsville, and Brandi Byrd of Bloomington; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sister Karen S. Stewart; brother Joe Billingsley of Crawfordsville; uncle Richard Day of Kentucky; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his parents; grandparents, Joseph and Ova Billingsley and Ray and Noma Sparks; and sisters, Kim Billingsley, Sandy Busse and Diane Mills.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with visitation beginning at 1 p.m. Cremation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to his wife or to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
