Michael "Mickey" Joseph Clifton, 57, of Crawfordsville died Sunday, Dec. 11, 2016, at St. Vincent Hospital, Indianapolis.

He was retired. He was a member of First United Methodist Church. He was a 1978 graduate of Crawfordsville High School and a 1983 graduate of Milligan College. While at CHS, he was the manager of the basketball team and recipient of the Hybarger Award.

He was born Dec. 7, 1959, at Crawfordsville, to Ed and Mary Clifton.

A sister, Joy Clifton St. Martin of Tampa, Florida, survives.

He was preceded in death by his parents Ed and Mary Ed Clifton and niece Sydney Hamm.

A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, 2016, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Lewis officiated. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave. Friends may call noon to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
