Michael Maurice Walden, 64, Indianapolis and formerly of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Mr. Walden graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1967 and had worked for Sysco Food Company. He was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church.
He was born on October 28, 1949 in Crawfordsville to Wendell and Ruth (Palojarvi) Walden.
Survivors include his mother, Ruth Walden, daughters, Stephanie (Paul) Walden-Schwake, Christie (Byron) Ford, Cate (Brian) Spaetti, brother, Rick (Becky) Walden, grandchildren, Evan Schwake, Thomas Ford, Zane Ford and Maddox Ford, mother of his children, Fonda Brown, current partner, Shirley Spradlin, stepchildren, Lois (Ricky) Cantrell, Carolyn Metcalf, Patricia Welsh, Carilla (Todd) McCord and Robert Spears. Also surviving are three nieces and a nephew.
He is preceded in death by his father, sister, Brenda Baker and step-son Wayne Spears.
Cremation was selected with no services at this time.
