Michael Gilbert Whitecotton, 76, passed away August 27, 2018 in the company of his loving family, at his home.

He was born July 25, 1942, to Robert and Elizabeth Whitecotton. He graduated from New Ross High School in 1960. He received two degrees from the University of Notre Dame 1964 – Business/Finance and 1974 – Architecture. He opened Town & Country Homecenter in 1978 and retired in 2014. Always at his side was his wife of 46 years, Kay Vanhook Whitecotton. She survives.

He is survived by: daughter Maggie; son Jack (Molly); sister Mary Beth (Tom) Harmon; four grandchildren; Katherine Grace Ann, Makayla Joy, Jameson Patrick, and Delaney Hope Whitecotton all of Crawfordsville; along with several nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be at Saint Bernard Catholic Church on Thursday, August 30 ^th . Visitation will be 11:00 – 1:00 prior to the Mass. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery.
