Obituary
Mike Friars, 66, of Crawfordsville passed away at 2:15 a.m., Wednesday, at Williamsburg Health Care.
He worked for R.R. Donnelley 45 years.
Memberships included Eagles and Sons of the American Legion.
He attended Roachdale High School.
Mr. Friars was born Nov. 14, 1944, in Indianapolis, to George Herbert and Dorothy Henry Friars. He was married to Linda Watson, who survives.
Survivors also include a son, Matt Friars of Lebanon; a brother, Jim Friars of Avon; a sister, Lauretta Kiser of Idaho and a granddaughter, Mia Friars.
A memorial gathering has been planned from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with a graveside service to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Cancer Association, P.O. Box 3516, Oak Brook, IL 60522.
