Mildred Harwood, 89 of Crawfordsville passed away peacefully Saturday at Whitlock Place surrounded by her family.
She was born December 13, 1925 to Howard Clifton & Pearl June Shanklin Redmon. Mildred graduated from Waynetown High School. She had worked at Raybestos, RR Donnelly and as a kitchen supervisor at Ben Hur Home. She was a member of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness in Crawfordsville. She loved flowers, dancing and traveling.
On January 6, 1945 she married David R. Harwood, he preceded her in death in 2007.
She is survived by her daughters Linda Kay (Sam) Lowe of Hillsboro, Cathy Elaine (Nick) Johnson of Crawfordsville and Teresa Lynn McKinney of Greencastle. Also surviving are 10 Grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 19 Great grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by 4 brothers, 1 sister, and son in law Phillip McKinney.

Funeral service will be held 2:00pm Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Brother Pat Manwarring officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation will be 12-2 Wednesday at the funeral home.
