Obituary
Mildred "Louise" Rager, 91, of Crawfordsville died at 3:50 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 4, 2015.
She retired from JC Penney after 25 years and was a member of Smartsburg Christian Church. She was born Jan. 30, 1923, to Hobart and Ruth Wills Bryant. She married Robert Wayne Ramsey on May 16, 1942. He died in 1944. She then married Lyle Branstetter in 1951. They divorced in 1966. He is deceased. She then married George Rager on Nov. 24, 1972. He died March 19, 2008.
Survivors include daughters, Sandy (Bob) Ramsey Fanning of Howe, Nancy Rager Thompson, Elkhart, Bonnie (Brad) Rager Bohrer, South Bend, Ellen Branstetter Rantz, West Lafayette and Susan Branstetter Watkins, Crawfordsville; sons, Clyde (Pam) Rager and Vern (Pam) Rager, both of Crawfordsville; 11 grandchildren; and eight greatgrandchildren.
Funeral services will take place at noon Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Brad Bohrer officiating. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery, Darlington. Friends may call 10 a.m. to noon Thursday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Smartsburg Christian Church, 434 N 400 East, Crawfordsville, IN 47933.
