Obituary
Myrtle M. Harris, 94, Indianapolis, formerly of Crawfordsville, passed away Sunday evening at St. Francis Hospital at Beech Grove.
Mrs. Harris worked as a clerk at Murphy's Dime Store for several years as well as at various restaurants. She was a member of the VFW Auxilliary.
She was born on September 28,1911 in Whitesville in Montgomery County to Joseph Mullens and Eva Shubert Mullens. She married Ellery Conkright. He passed away on April 30, 1962.
Survivors include a daughter, Carolyn (Ronald) of Indianapolis along with 5 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren.
Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call 12:00-1:45 PM Thursday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home.
