Nancy E. Irvin, 67, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday at her home.
She was a customer service manager at Raybestos and retired in June of 2012 after 28 years. Her memberships included St. Bernard's Catholic Church and Faith Alliance. She enjoyed being on the beach in Florida, family get togethers and her grandchildren's activities.
She was born June 27, 1946 in Rockville to Omer and Alma (Miller) Fruits. She married Joe Irvin on July 17, 1966, they were married 47 years and he survives. Also surviving are her children, Sasha (Darren) Clements of Crawfordsville, Tisha (Jeff) Lynas of Crawfordsville, Ryan Irvin (Anne Sterling) of Bloomington, other family members Jeremy (Heather) Bradley, sisters, Joyce Barr of Terre Haute and Sue (Jim) Spence of Alamo and a brother, Keith (Karen) Fruits of Waynetown. Also surviving are grandchildren Brant Clements (Hannah Hartlep), Mackenzie Lynas, Ty Lynas, Luc Bradley, Lane Bradley and great grandchild, Konner Hartlep.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a grandchild, Jozie Lynas.
Funeral Mass is scheduled for 11:00 AM Thursday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Fr. Ambrose Ziegler officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call 5-8 PM Wednesday in the church. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Faith Alliance.
