Nancy E. Kashon, 66, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 9:10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent Hospital.
Mrs. Kashon was born July 8, 1941 in Chicago Heights, Ill., to Morgan and Frances Schaeffer Kyle.
She married Tony Kashon on June 9, 1962 in Clinton. He survives. She worked as the assistant to the Dean at Wabash College. She was a member of St. Bernard's Catholic Church, where she was a Lector, Eucharistic Minister, and Mass coordinator; Wabash Women & Women on Campus at Wabash College; CHRP-Gals at St. Bernard's.
She is survived by her husband; sons, Troy (Vicki) Kashon of Aurora, Colo., Michael (Kristine) Kashon of Morgantown, W. Va., Randall Kashon of Crawfordsville and Nicholas (Amber) Kashon of Crawfordsville; brother, Morgan (Sylvia) Kyle of Lawrenceville, Ga., and Robert (Pam) Kyle of Clinton; sisters, Patty (James) Slaven of Lyford and Mary Lynn (Larry) Rardin of Clinton; 10 grandchildren, Amie, Bryan, Morgan, Lucas, Tony, Beth Ann, Chrystian, Free, Hunter and Haze.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Bernard's Catholic Church with Father David Hellman officiating. A private family burial will take place at a later date.
Friends and family can pay their respects from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday at the church and one hour prior to the service Monday.
