Nancy E. Yount of Darlington, IN passed peacefully Thursday morning December 19th at
Franciscan Health Lafayette ICU. She was born February 24, 1931, in Bloomington, IN to Elmer
and Hulda Eads, the eighth child. She married Allen C. Yount on May 30, 1954, and they were
married for 49 years. She was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, VFW Ladies auxiliary
Post 1431 and M.O.C. Ladies Auxiliary Quiatenon #2. Many knew her for her cooking and baking
talent. She also loved babysitting.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, husband, eight siblings, and a son, Mark Alan
Willoughby.
She is survived by daughters Tamara (Tammy) Yount, Glenda Yount and her son Terry (Dawn)
Yount; grandsons, Jason (Jen) Bronaugh, Josh (Kayla) Bronaugh, granddaughters; Kisha (Levi)
Hutson, Heather (Mike) Hites, Stephanie (Brian) Cox, Jamie Willoughby, Ariel Sledge, and Shelby
Sledge. She was also blessed with 13 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday, December 27 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home
with Allen Sparks officiating. Visitation will begin at 11:00.
