Naomi McIntyre, 89 of Crawfordsville passed away Wednesday at her home.  She was born May 22, 1933 in Crawfordsville to John & Thelma Hamilton Thompson.

She married William N. "Bill" McIntyre in 1948, he preceded her in death.

Naomi was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene where she taught Sunday school, and most recently she attended Rock Point Church.  She loved sewing, watching movies, and playing games on her iPad, but especially spending time with her family.

Survivors include her seven children, Linda Hayes, Crawfordsville; Ruth (Larry Meadows) McIntyre of Crawfordsville; Bill (Pam) McIntyre of Crawfordsville; Tom (Karen) McIntyre of Crawfordsville; Sandy (Bob) Owens of Lompoc, CA; Janet (Mike) McManomy of Daytona Beach, FL; and Jeff (Sara) McIntyre of Noblesville, IN. She has 13 grandchildren, Ricky, Matt, Mark, Janet Leslie, Chris, Billy, Missy, Casey, Doug, Tommy, Brian, Alyssa, and Nathan as well as 25 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren. Naomi was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Howard "Bones" Thompson & John Charles Thompson, and sister Betty Roche.

Funeral services will be 3:00pm Tuesday March 21 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 1:00-3:00pm Tuesday. Entombment will follow in the Oak Hill Mausoleum.
