Nora B. Hammer, 83, of Crawfordsville
died at 11:26 p.m., Tuesday, at St. Clare
Medical Center.
Born March 11, 1925, she was the
daughter of Wilson and Laura Jones
Baker.
She graduated from Crawfordsville
High School in 1942 and was a secretary
for Judge Howard Sommer and several
attorneys.
She was a member of First Christian
Church.
On Dec. 23, 1982, she married Donald
Hammer who survives.
Other survivors include a daughter,
Loretta (Bruce) Robicheau, of Woodland,
Calif.; three sisters, Hazel (Roger) Sering
of Crawfordsville, Eula Blickenstaff of
Gainesville, Fla., and Shirley (Doug)
Somers of Colorado Springs, Colo.; and
three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three
brothers, Troy, Bonna and Charles
"Lewis" Baker; and a sister, Rose Siddons.
A graveside service is planned for 2
p.m. Saturday at Mace Cemetery with
Pastor Dan Aldrich officiating.
