Norma Jean (Gilland) Hultz passed away Thursday at Ben Hur Home.
She was born in Crawfordsville on July 5, 1938 to William Byrd & Lena Page Gilland.
Mrs. Hultz was a 1957 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
She was employed as a bookkeeper for Union Federal Savings & Loan from 1957-1970
She was a member of the Christ United Methodist Church where she had taught Sunday School in the junior department from 1955-1970. She was also a member of the United Methodist Women's Society.
She Married David C. Hultz on March 23, 1962 in the First E.U.B Church of Crawfordsville by the Rev. Fulp. Her husband died October 21, 1985.
They had a son, David Jay Hultz, he preceded her in death on March 31, 2006.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, son and Sisters Virginia Kirkham, Velma Templeton and nephew Marion James Auman Jr.
She leaves behind her nephews, Steve (Anita) Templeton, Shane (Anne) Templeton, Michael Templeton, Mitchell Swaner, Niece Sophia Templeton, Great great nieces Madison Grace Templeton, and Margaret Layne Templeton and many very good friends and her beloved cat Buddy.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Chris Renick officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave.
