Obituary
Otis Summers Jr., 77, of Crawfordsville passed away at 10:15 p.m. Sunday at Williamsburg Healthcare.
Mr. Summers was born on July 20, 1929 in Crawfordsville to Otis and Mable Nihcols Summers.
Mr. Summers attended Crawfordsville High School.
He married Ella Crawford Krout. She preceded him in death on June 25, 1988.
He worked at MidStates and was a member of the Laborers Union. He served in the U.S. Navy.
Survivors include a brother, Harold Summers, of Vallejo, Calif.; three nephews, Mike (Cheryl) Summers of Crawfordsville, Roger Summers of Springfield, Ohio and Tim Summers of Crawfordsville and three nieces, Charlene Summers of Crawfordsville, Pam (Dion) McIntyre of Rose Mead, Calif. and Mia (Robert) Kaul of Vallejo, Calif.
He was preceded in death by a brother Leroy and companion Shirley Summers.
Private family services are scheduled at a later date. Cremation was chosen.
