Pamela Ann (Wills) Sampsell was born in Crawfordsville, Indiana November 18, 1946 to Lloyd E. and Mary A. (Murdock) Wills. She graduated from CHS in 1965 and attended Indiana State University. She was married for 15 years and lived in PA, TX, CA, MS, AL, AR, AZ, VA, and CO before returning to IN where she raised two wonderful children. Son Jeffrey Scott (Sampsell) Wills and wife Renee, along with their 3 daughters are living in Noblesville, IN and daughter Jenny Deelyn (Sampsell) Sickle and husband Jason are living in Hayesville, NC. Other family includes her younger brother Dan Alan Wills and his wife Gwynn.
She held many positions in personnel and marketing which included the Arizona Bank, United Technologies Microelectronic Center, Ford Microelectronics Center, H-C Industries, Crown Cork & Seal, Quad Pharmaceuticals, and Lithonia Lighting. She also worked for Wabash College, and as a dept. secretary for Tucson Medical Center in Respiratory Therapy. She too was a Sales Rep for Caballero Reality, American Ultraviolet Co., and Mary Kay. Most recently she was a substitute teacher and Montessori teaching assistant for several years while also being a nanny for her grandkids. She attended many conferences and trade shows and enjoyed working in her yard, sewing, traveling and decorating. She was a member of Trinity Methodist Church and past memberships to Flowers Lovers Garden Club, Kiwanis, ASPA, personnel and marketing clubs.
Her greatest accomplishments were her children and three grand children Norah Ann, Emily Rose, and Maren Lila. Son Jeffrey Scott (Sampsell) Wills and wife Renee, along with their 3 daughters are living in Noblesville, IN and daughter Jenny Deellyn (Sampsell) Sickle and husband Jason are living in Hayesville, NC.
A simple Celebration of Life service for family and friends will be held 1:00pm Wednesday at Oak Hill Mausoleum. Friends may call from 11-1 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
