Patricia R. Southwood

Patricia Romana Southwood, 76, of Crawfordsville IN passed away peacefully in her home on July 12th with family by her side. Patricia was born on November 21,1949 in Crawfordsville, IN to Eugene Batoy Lauy and Margie Bernice Lauy (Beecher). She was a graduate of New Market High School and Purdue University.

Patricia was known for her free spirit which always kept family and friends on their toes. She enjoyed traveling and exploring many places and cultures. Patricia was an artist, and entrepreneur, a poet, and completed many household renovations and construction projects on her own. She was a mother, Grandmother, and Great Grandmother, sister and friend to many.

She is survived by her children, Joe Southwood, and Jonathan (Carolyn) Southwood. Also surviving are grandchildren, Jordan Southwood, Kirsten (Clay) Glenn, Ashlynn (Tim) Herron, Scott Southwood, Maddy (Robert Head) Southwood, Ethan Southwood, Matthew Southwood, and Lucia Southwood and multiple great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery at a later date.
