IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Paul Vincent
Hensel
April 21, 1959 – December 1, 2020
Passed away suddenly on Tuesday, December 1, 2020 in Crawfordsville, Indiana at the age of 61. He is the son of Bernard Hensel and Evelyn Nall who proceed him in death.
Paul had 2 sons, Nicholas (Amanda) Hensel and 2 grandsons, Korbin and Griffin, and son, Tyler Hensel, and 2 stepchildren.
He is also survived by 4 sisters, Charlotte Shaw (Lee Dickerson), Teresa (Chris) Rowland, Jamie (Charles) Wallar, Margaret (Roy) Pritchett and one Brother, Kevin Hensel who proceeds him in death.
Paul married Sallie Shine October 5, 2013, bringing along with her 2 stepchildren Sarah Shine and William Schoentrup, they survive.
Paul worked at Crown Cork & Seal for 43 years. He started when he was 18 years old and wanted nothing more than to work at where his Father, Bernard Hensel worked. Paul learned life-long skills and made a lot of friends at Crown Cork & Seal. His last job with them was in the Maintenance Department as a Maintenance Tech.
Paul loved life, all of it and tried to live it to the fullest in every possible way, including but not limited to rebuilding his first car a 1969 Dodge Charger, riding his 2000 Indian Chief which is where he got the name "Chief", and teased his sisters all through their life and they gave him the name "Diablo". He had a great dry sense of humor and enjoyed trying it out on anyone who would listen. Loved being a grandfather to Lilly, Bryson, Korbin and Griffin. Family and close friends were important to Paul and thought helping others was a way of life. He brought joy to many of us and we will always remember the little things he did to make us smile.
We let you go with a lot of love and sadness however whenever we hear the roar of a motorcycle or the ring of a bell or when we look up at the stars, planets and Milky Way and see a twinkle we will know it is you winking at us. We carry you in our hearts my dear Husband, Father, Grandfather, Brother, Uncle and Friend……you will not be forgotten.
