Perry Lee Yeley, 82, Crawfordsville passed away Monday at home. He was born March 1, 1940, in Crawfordsville to Lester M. & Nettie Fields Yeley.

Perry had worked at Midstates Wire in Crawfordsville and retired as a Firefighter with the City of Lafayette. He also worked as a painter at Purdue University.

Perry married Karen Stout, on January 21, 1966, She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Kevin Wood, Glinda (Terry) Alkire, and Lynette (Mark) Richardson. He also has a brother Archie "Doc" Yeley and a sister Betty Carver, 6 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings Margaret Powell, Leroy Yeley, and Fred Yeley.

A funeral service will be held 2:00pm Friday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Brian Saunders officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery.
