Obituary
Phyllis Powell Bishop, 78, of Crawfordsville, died at 1:30 p.m. on March 17, 2010, at St. Vincent Hospice in Indianapolis.
Born on Aug. 23, 1931 in Chicago to parents Ernest and Dorothy Pauline Garver Stewart, Mrs. Bishop retired from Fleetwood Travel Trailers in 1990. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She leaves behind sons Sammy Ray Davis of Lafayette and Bub (Vicki) Davis of Crawfordsville, as well as daughters Terri Utterback and Sandy Joann (Steven D.) Hall, of Crawfordsville. She also leaves behind seven grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Jacob Stewart.
A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Friday, March 19 at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with The Rev. Jim Fay officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Visitation is from noon to 2 p.m. Friday.
