Phyllis D. Manning, 92 of Crawfordsville passed away Thursday at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
She was born on May 8, 1928 in Crawfordsville to Mary Jane Taylor Wilkinson.

She was a graduate of Crawfordsville High School and worked for Lewis & Shepherd as well as Banjo Products. Phyllis was a member of the Darlington Christian Church. She was married to Richard Manning on August 21, 1949, he preceded her in death in 1998.

She is survived by her children Jeff Manning of Darlington and Marsha Hodgen of Macon, MO; Grandchildren Darren Hodgen, Brian Hodgen, Jill Hodgen-Woodcock, Kyle Manning and Katie (Aaron) Hopkins. She has 5 great grandchildren Grady, Stetson, Jeffrey, Skyler and Carson. She is also survived be her sisters Janet (Wally) Nichols and Donna (David) Orwig, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at Hunt & Son Funeral Home at 2:00pm Monday with Pastor Wally Nichols officiating. Visitation will be from 12-2pm Monday. Interment will follow in the Darlington Greenlawn Cemetery.
