Obituary
Phyllis J. Servies, 80, of Crawfordsville died at 7:46 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015, at Franciscan St. Elizabeth Crawfordsville.
Her memberships included American Legion Auxiliary, VFW Auxiliary and Eagles Auxiliary. She was a 1952 graduate of Crawfordsville High School.
She was born March 1, 1935, at Crawfordsville, to Carl and Thelma Elizabeth Stephens Long. She married Paul Servies on June 18, 1953, at Crawfordsville. They were married by the Rev. John Servies.
Survivors include: her husband; daughters, Brenda Jo (Frank Haas) Servies and Kim (Tim) Perry, both of Crawfordsville; brothers, Robert Long of Lafayette and Steven Osting of Haines City, Florida; five grandchildren, Stacey Lobosky, Julie Hutson, Paul Hintz, Terri Davis and Chelsea Hardin; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by son Gregory in October 1994 and brother Donald Long.
A funeral service will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with Minister Everett Davenport officiating. Cremation will follow the service. Friends may call noon to 2 p.m. Tuesday.
