Phyllis Joan Walls, 90 of Crawfordsville, Indiana went to be with Jesus on Tuesday May 15, 2018.

She was born August 8 ^th , 1927 the daughter of James D. and Thelma Lamb.

Her life revolved around her family. She was known as Grandma Joan to more than just her own grandchildren. Her smile was given to everyone she met. She was an avid seamstress, quilter and needle worke. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church and served as a Sunday School teacher, Nursery Worker as well as other various ministries.

Surviving are her husband Jerry L. Walls of Crawfordsville, IN; 5 children: Judy (Brent) Gleason or Martinsville, IN, Bob Cosby of New Ross, IN, Sue Ann (Jeff) Kincade of Silver Springs, FL, Mike (Debbie) Walls of Robinson, IL, Janet (Buddy) Benford of Chattanooga, TN; 11 Grandchildren: Stacey Gresbach, Melissa Junkin, Kelly Rosen, Karey Verduin, Kim Culvahouse, Tiffany Raymond, Laura Beth Lister, Kevin Walls, Rachel Hernandez, Jennifer Matherly, Jeremy Benford; and 25 Great Grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm – 2:00pm on Friday, May 18 ^th , 2018 followed by Funeral Service at 2:00pm at East Side Baptist Church, 2000 Traction Road, Crawfordsville, IN. Burial will follow services at Indian Creek Hill Cemetery. Hunt & Son Funeral Home is assisting with services.
