Ralph "Ralphie" Elliott, 92, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday evening at Ben Hur Health & Rehab.

He was born March 4, 1929 in Ripley Township to Gordon P. and Ethel (Fink) Elliott.  He married his wife Donna on May 1, 1948 and she passed on October 1, 2009.

His memberships included the American Legion, the Eagles, the V.F.W. and the Elks.  He loved sports, especially I.U. and the Dodgers.  He was past president of the Sportsman's Club.  He enjoyed fishing, gardening, bowling and was a CHS Booster.

Survivors include his children David (Amanda), Susie (Tom) Gineris and Lisa (Rick) McKinney along with six grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his wife, three brothers and three sisters.

Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with visitation beginning at noon. He will be laid to rest at Oak Hill Cemetery North with military rites by the American Legion and VFW.
