Ramona Goins Thomas, 53, of Crawfordsville died Monday at Woodside Hospice in St. Petersburg, Fla.
She had owned her own cleaning business. She enjoyed quilting, gardening and antiquing.
She was born March 28, 1959, at Crawfordsville, to Frank Goins Jr. and Lena Johnson Goins.
Survivors include: her mother at Crawfordsville; son Jeff "Sonny" of Crawfordsville; and sisters, Rebecca Martinez of Crawfordsville, Darla Goins of Crawfordsville, Sheila Goins Scott of Hudson, Fla., and Gwen Goins of Crawfordsville. She is survived by her lifelong friend and soul mate, Sonny Whalen and grandchildren, Ace Goins and Dakota Goins of Atmore, Ala., and Brealin Goins of Crawfordsville.
She was preceded in death by her father and a grandchild, Presley Goins.
Funeral arrangements are at 2 p.m. Monday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home, with the Rev. Gary Johnson officiating. Burial will be at Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation hours are noon to 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
