Randall J. Hurt, 70, Crawfordsville, passed away Saturday, August 23 in his home.
Mr. Hurt had been a sergeant in the United States Marines during the Vietnam War and was a retired plant manager. He was a member of Calvary Chapel.
Born on May 11, 1944, in Crawfordsville to Fay Henry and Mildred G. (Hollingsworth) Hurt, he married Linda K. Fischer and she survives. Also surviving are his children, Jay Randall, Daniel Allen, Jeremiah Michael, Joshua David, Caleb Nathaniel, Adrianne Rebecca Northcutt and Claudia Christine Hurt and brother, Bradford R. Hurt. In addition, 16 grandchildren survive.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Tuesday at Hunt and Son Funeral Home with Pastor Dave Keesee officiating. Burial with military honors by the VFW and American Legion will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 12-2 PM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Animal Welfare League of Montgomery County with envelopes available at the funeral home.
