Obituary

Raymond A. Vice passed away peacefully Monday August 24, 2015 at Lane House in Crawfordsville.
He was born May 27, 1925 to Winfred and Anita Robbins Vice. He attended Ladoga schools. He served in the US Army and retired from Mid States Steel and Wire in 1983.
He married Laura J. (Eileen) Zachary September 24, 1950 in the First United Methodist Church with the Reverend Tremaine officiating.
He is survived by his two daughters Janet (Steve) Hallett of Hillsboro, and Kathy (Bill) Platipodis of Crawfordsville.
Also surviving are five grandchildren, Jill (Greg) Dervenis of Fishers, Gavin "Zac" Hallett and his wife Jennee of Noblesville, Reid (Rebecca) Snellenbarger of Wilmette, IL, Tona (Brian) Gardner of Greencastle and Katie Snellenbarger of Denver CO.
Eleven great grandchildren, Braden and Trey Hallett, Matthew and Michael Dervenis, Sarah and Emily Dobson, Madison and Drew Gardner, Henry, Grayson, and Violet Snellenbarger.
Six step grandchildren, Robbie, Christopher, Jill, Jason and Jeffrey Platipodis, and Jessica Ruge of Valparaiso.
Two brother Chet Vice of Ladoga and Harold "Ike" vice of Astoria Oregon survive as to two sisters, Ruthie Moore of Crawfordsville and Barbara Mckenzie of Danville, IN
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, son Rex, three brothers and three sisters.
Friends may call at the Hunt & Son Funeral Home from 12-2 Wednesday with a graveside service following at 2 Oak Hill Cemetery North.
IN lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Ladoga Cemetery.
