Rebecca A. (Crabtree) Proctor, 80, Crawfordsville entered into eternal rest Friday June 21 at I.U. Methodist Hospital with family by her side.

She was born June 16, 1939 to the late Ray and Gladys (Soards) Crabtree and was a 1957 graduate of Coal Creek Central High School.  On June 16, 1958 she married the love of her life, Elmer H. Proctor who proceeded her in death in 2003.    She was also preceded in death by a brother, David L. Crabtree.

Rebecca was a Golden Age Eagle member of F. O. Eagles # 1005 having been a member since 1977 where she served as a trustee and an auditor.

Surviving are sons, Geoffrey Proctor of Crawfordsville, Brian (Rita) Proctor of Brownsburg, daughters, Mischa Rogers of Groveton, GA and Linda (John) Hudson of Crawfordsville.  Also surviving are sisters, Naomi (Jimmy) Lowther of Hot Springs Village, AR and Ruth Whitaker of Lavergne, TN along with multiple grandchildren, great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.

Funeral services are scheduled for 1:00 PM Wednesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with burial to follow at Oak Hill Cemetery North.  A visitation will be held 4-6 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
