Rebecca J (Becky) Smith lost her short but valiant battle with cancer Wednesday November 5 in Indianapolis. She was born November 23, 1949 in Crawfordsville to Lola (Wilson) and Carl Campbell. Becky graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1967. She married the love of her life Jerry Smith September 19, 1987, he preceded her in death. Beck had been employed by RR Donnelley for 25 years. She was a member of the Moose Lodge, The American Legion and VFW.
Becky loved her family unconditionally. She is survived by her mother Lola Brady, Sons Bradley and Robert (Amber) Hummel of Crawfordsville and her sisters Linda Herget of Chalmers and Kim Nelson of Crawfordsville. She is also survived by her grandchildren Karah Hummel, Lilly Hummel, Paige & Zoey Corbin and Faith & Jake Stevens. Becky left a hole in the hearts of her family and friends and will be sorely missed by her and Jerry's faithful companion UBU.

Services will be held Saturday at 3:00pm at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Brock Graham officiating. Visitation will be from 1-3 Saturday. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave.
