Obituary
Rex D. Worley, 88, of Sarasota, Fla., and formerly of Crawfordsville, died April 23.
Mr. Worley was a retired Lieutenant Colonel in the U.S. Army, and a member of the First United Methodist Church of Crawfordsville and the Crawfordsville Masonic Lodge.
Survivors include wife Agnes, of Sarasota; daughter Pamela Broady, of St. Mary's, Ohio; stepdaughter Connie Semple, of Sarasota; stepsons John Hesser and Larry Hesser, both of Georgetown, Texas., and Mark Hesser, of Sarasota; 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. His first wife Nancy, an infant daughter Ann Worley, son Samuel Worley, and sister Ellen Jane Hamm are deceased.
Graveside services, including military rites, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Avenue.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to Gulf Gate Church, 6501 S. Lockwood Ridge Road, Sarasota, FL 34231.
