Richard K. Gardner, 62, of Crawfordsville died at
12:27 p.m. Wednesday, July 16, 2014, at Wellbrooke.
He had worked for Service Master, Crawfordsville Fire
Department and IBM in Greencastle. He served in the
Indiana National Guard 1970-1976; and
was a member of the American Legion,
VFW Auxiliary and Eagles. He graduated
from Crawfordsville High School and attended
Indiana State University.
He was born Feb. 2, 1952, at Crawfordsville, to Frank E.
Gardner and Trillis Caldwell.
Survivors include: sons, Richard Shane Gardner of
Martinsville, Michael Gordon Gardner of Greencastle,
Frank H. Gardner of Greencastle and Dustin W. Gardner
of Greencastle; sister Jeri Remley of Crawfordsville; and
eight grandchildren.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Monday at
Hunt & Son Funeral Home, 107 N. Grant Ave. Burial will
be in Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call noon to
2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
