Obituary
Richard L. Watson, 87, Crawfordsville, died 4:32 p.m. Tuesday in St. Clare Medical Center.
Mr. Watson was retired from Yellow Freight as a truck driver. He was a member of New Hope Christian Church and Kingsway Sunday School class. He was a 1938 graduate of Roachdale High School.
He was born March 23, 1920 at Greencastle to Oral and Nellie Ruth Wilson Watson. On July 4, 1943, he married Frances Ellen Galloway. She died Sept. 18, 1996.
He is survived by two sons, Bill (Sue), Waynetown; and Don (Denise), Avon; a daughter, Linda (Mike) Friars, Crawfordsville; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are 2 p.m. Saturday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Harold Keck officiating. Burial will be in Roachdale Cemetery. Visitation hours are 12-2 p.m. Saturday.
