Obituary

Robert L. " Bob" Cosby, 69,  passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10, 2020.  Bob was born August 7, 1950, in Danville, Illinois to Lyle & Joan Cosby.  Lyle & Joan later divorced.  Joan remarried Jerry Walls and together, they raised Bob and his siblings. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany.  Bob worked at Raybestos for 47 years, retiring in 2015.  He enjoyed golfing, yard work, collecting Pepsi memorabilia, lighting fireworks on the Fourth of July for his grandchildren and watching his grandchildren in sporting and dancing/cheer events.

He is survived by daughters, Kelly(Chad) Rosen and Karey(Eric) Verduin, both of Crawfordsville, his six grandchildren, Kyleigh Franklin, Jacob, Maxwell & Anabelle Verduin and Carter & Ruby Rosen.  His surviving siblings are Judy(Brent) Gleason of Martinsville, Indiana, Sue(Jeff) Kincade of Ocala, Florida, Mike(Debbie) Walls of Robinson, Illinois, and Janet(Buddy) Benford of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, a "Special Aunt" Carol Clem of Williamsport, Indiana and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Bob is proceeded in death by his parents, a brother, Tom Walls and a grandson Klayton Franklin.

Bob's wishes were to be cremated with no funeral services.  A celebration of life will be Monday, March 16, 2020, at the American Legion Post #72 in Crawfordsville from 5:30pm-8:30pm.
