Robert L. Latham, 83, Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday evening at his residence from complications of cancer.

He was born August 26, 1937 in Lebanon to Leonard and Della May (Jamison) Latham. He married Carol Lou Jones in 1968 who preceded him in death.

Bob was a graduate of Lebanon High School. He was employed by Midstates Steel & Wire and retired from Horner's.

He was a longtime member of the Eagles. He enjoyed golfing and his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, Rob (Vicki) Jones of Crawfordsville, John (Annetta) Jones of Valparaiso, Russ (Julie) Latham of Kentucky, Gayle Burtner of Arizona and Michelle (Sam) Ward of Crawfordsville, brother, Jim (Nancy) Latham of Arizona, grandchildren Mandy Jones, Casey Jones, Sloan Mahoney, Daxter Jones, Kevin Kendricks, Matthew Kendricks. Emily Latham, Nathan Latham, Julianna Latham, Wes Latham, Dawn (David) Gallagher, Josh Burtner, Shelby Ward, great-grandchildren, Breana Lowery, Blayze Jones, Brendan Jones, Cyan Jones, William Kendricks, Claire Kendricks, great great-grandchildren Dominic Lowery and Gavin Lowery.

Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Thursday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with calling one hour prior. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery South.

The family would like to express how blessed we were when Wadell Brown came into Bob's life, with her love and support.

He was preceded by his son Steve Latham.
