Robert Mendoza, 45, of Frankfort, Indiana, passed away Saturday, July 18.
He was born in Danville, IL, to Jesus and Minerva Perez Mendoza. Robert worked for the railroad. He attended St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Frankfort. He attended Clinton Prairie High School, where he played football. He was a professional boxer for several years. He loved to eat pizza and tacos. He was a local artist.
If someone needed help, he would always find a way to help.
Robert deeply loved his family.
He is survived by his parents. Also surviving are his children: Esmeralda, Ariel, Jasmine, Robert Jr, Natalia, and Maria. He had 6 siblings: Jesus Jr, Estella Mendoza, Noemi Mendoza, Veronica Mendoza, Vensabio Mendoza, and Michael Mendoza. He was preceded in death by a son, Carlos Mendoza.
A funeral mass will take place at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church at 11:00 am Saturday, July 25.
Visitation will be Friday, July 24 from 5- 7 p.m. at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church.
Interment will follow the service in Calvary Cemetery.
