Robert Weakley Peacock, born April 12, 1954, passed away on Monday, January 18, 2021 after a courageous 10-year battle with cancer.

Known as Robert to many and Bob to many more, he graduated from Crawfordsville High School in 1972.  He attended & graduated from Indiana University and was a member of Sigma Chi fraternity.  After school, he returned to Crawfordsville to live and work, many years at Lithonia Lighting.  Bob was an avid runner having completed 13 mini-marathons.  He would always know when the Hoosiers were playing.  He routinely worked in the yard and garden and was faithful at keeping the bird feeder full.  Bob was comfortable and happy in the kitchen, manning the grill and routine grocery trips to Kroger.

He married Cheryl Calvert on November 6, 2004 who survives.  Also surviving are his son, Brandon (Leslie) Peacock, and daughter Lindsey (Alfredo) Villalpando, both of Crawfordsville.  Daughters Lindsay Calvert and Paige Lower of Crawfordsville.  A brother Norman (Cathy) Peacock.  Grandchildren Claire, Kent, Blaine, Olivia, Graham, Josie, and Christopher.

He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Dr. Norman Franklin and Margaret "Peg" Peacock and sister Barbara Ann.

A private family service will be held at Hunt & Son Funeral Home on Saturday, January 23rd.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital or the local Animal Welfare League.
