Robert W. Radford, 91 of Crawfordsville passed away Monday at Franciscan Health Indianapolis.

He was born October 1, 1926 in Crawfordsville to Paul J. & Lena Hicks Radford. Robert was a veteran of the US Army serving in WWII. He was retired from the shipping department at MidStates Steel and Wire.

He was a member of the First Christian Church, Montgomery County Civic Band, Masonic Lodge, Shrine Club, American Legion, Elks Lodge, and Shriner Band.

Robert married Barbara Jean Himes on September 24, 1949, she survives. Also surviving are his children Paula Jean (Harold Lee) Radford McCormick of Brentwood, TN and Phillip J. (Elvira) Radford of Las Vegas, NV. He has four grandchildren Shane, Seth, Stephen and Noel as well as 5 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2:00pm Saturday January 20 at First Christian Church with Pastor Darla Goodrich officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30-2:00pm at the church. Interment will follow in the Oak Hill Cemetery Grant Ave.
