Obituary
Robert W. Smith, 73, of Crawfordsville passed away Friday April 6, 2007 at St. Clare Medical Center.
Mr. Smith had started and ran several local businesses including Valley Motor Sales, Valley RV Sales, and Discount Trailer Sales.
He was born October 30, 1933 in Brownsburg, IN to Frank & Thelma Harris Smith. He graduated Bainbridge High School in 1951. He married Jo Ann Bannon January 12, 1957, she survives.
Also surviving are his four children; Susan (Jeff) Linn of New Ross, Mark (Connie) Smith of Crawfordsville, Matthew Smith of Crawfordsville, & Andrew (Gia) Smith of Crawfordsville. He is also survived by his grandchildren; Kyle Linn, Katie Linn & Susie Melville. One brother Paul Smith of Bainbridge survives.
Funeral services will be held 2:00pm Tuesday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. James Ranard officiating. Interment will be in the Oak Hill Cemetery North. Friends may call from 4-8 Monday.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
