Rodny Lynn Harden of Crawfordsville died Wednesday, April 14, 2010, at St. Clare Medical Center. He was 40.
He was born on Jan. 21, 1969 at Danville, Ill., to parents Al and Myrna (Coleman) Harden, who survive him.
He owned Hoosier Barber Shop and also ran Hoosier Sports, a program for kids. He was a certified IHSAA referee and was also a promoter for All Star Basketball games with a love for instructing young athletes. He also enjoyed working with coaches and scholarships for college players.
He attended Woodland Heights Christian Church.
He graduated from Valparaiso High School in 1988 and attended Liberty University with a major in sports management.
Additional survivors include brothers Rob of Crawfordsville and Roger of Lexington, Ky., as well as four nieces, two nephews and one great nephew.
A funeral service will take place at 3 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Heights Christian Church with The Rev. Tony Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Covington, Ind.
Visitation will be from 1-2:30 p.m. Saturday at Woodland Heights Christian Church.
