Obituary
Rolland R. Shadle, 81, of Crawfordsville, passed away at 12:20 p.m. Wednesday at Hickory Creek Nursing Home.
Mr. Shadle was born May 26, 1926 in Wells County to Ralph and Verda Rogers Shadle.
He was a 1944 graduate of Montpelier High School. He was a farmer. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. He married Edna McCammon on Jan. 21, 1948. She preceded him in death in 2006. He was a member of First Baptist Church.
He is survived by son, David (Virginia) Shadle of Crawfordsville; daughter, Barbara Hall of Crawfordsville; grandchildren- Jeremy (Jennifer) Shadle, Courtni, Whitney, and Craig Hall
He was preceded in death by his wife; brother, Robert Shadle; and sister, Norma Dyer.
Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Saturday at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Pastor Mike Uhl officiating. Burial is at Oak Hill Cemetery North, with military rites.
Friends and family can pay their respects from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday.
