Ronald Jay Coffing, 60, of Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday, September 25, at Franciscan East Hospital in Lafayette.

He was born May 22, 1964 in Crawfordsville. His parents were Theodore and Randi Moore Coffing.  We had worked at Whitesville Mill Service.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Arcadia Florida. He loved working with his hands and building things.

He is survived by his mother, Randi; Children Jordan Coffing of New Jersey, Cameron Coffing of North Carolina; Jimmy Coffing of Wisconsin; Jada Coffing of North Carolina, Colton Coffing of North Carolina, and Jasmine Coffing of North Carolina; Sister Lorrie Coffing Moser; and his only grandson Aspen Coffing.

He was preceded in death by his brother Ed Coffing.

Cremation was chosen with a private family memorial to take place at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
