Ronald D. Flaurr, 72, of Crawfordsville, passed away Wednesday at Seton Specialty Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born Sept. 26, 1937, in Waveland, he was the son of Ira and Cleophia (Massey) Flaurr.
He graduated from Waveland High School and married Barbara Tate on July 29, 1959.
He worked for Mid-States Steel. Memberships included the Masonic Lodge, Order of Eastern Star and Grace & Mercy Ministries.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, Ronald Jr. Flaurr and John (Tresha) Flaurr; a daughter, Shelly (Albert Jr.) Lowe; two brothers, John (Darlene) Flaurr and Ralph Flaurr, all of Rockville; two sisters, Joan Brissey of Crawfordsville and Marjorie Flaurr of Rockville; eight grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Frank and Walter, and two sisters, Virginia Rector and Mary Lee Zachary.
Services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, at Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Miller officiating. Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., Saturday, at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery North.
